ANANTARA SPA OPENS AT KEMPINSKI HOTEL ISHTAR DEAD SEA, JORDAN

On November 30, 2005 Bangkok-based MSpa International, a leading global operator of multi-brand resort and city hotel spas, announced that it has signed a contract with United Saudi Jordanian Hotels And Tourism Company (HAT) to operate an Anantara Spa at the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea in Jordan.
A new Spa Paradise is now open since June 9th, 2006; Phase 1 of the Anantara Spa at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea is MSpa International's first Anantara Spa in Jordan offering pampering spa concept and treatments. Phase 2 of the Anantara Spa is scheduled to open in April 2007, it will embrace an all-encompassing holistic spa concept featuring holistic treatments and programs that will draw on the therapeutic waters and mineral- rich mud of the area among other essential Southeast Asia traditions. This represents a significant and strategic step in the development of MSpa International's portfolio of spa concepts as it will be the company's first true destination spa of its kind.
The 346-room leisure resort, owned and being developed by the United Saudi Jordanian Hotel And Tourism Company and managed by Kempinski Hotels, is situated along the Dead Sea's north eastern coastline and is set to feature outdoor whirlpools, lagoons, Dead Sea water pools, a fitness centre, tennis court and 2 Royal Villas for guests to experience the ultimate in spa living. Each of these 2 Villas will have private spa facilities so that guests can enjoy most of the same spa treatments that are on offer in the spa, all in the comfort of their own private villa.
